By placing an order with Beyond a Word, whether by this website, email, telephone or post you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. The following terms and conditions have been put into place in order to protect the interests of our customers and our business.

While Beyond a Word has taken meticulous care in preparing the information for this site, it cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions contained. Every effort is made to keep the site updated however information can change without notice therefore Beyond a Word does not guarantee the accuracy of any information on the website, this includes any information provided by third parties.

When you the ‘purchaser’ submit an image whether by uploading onto the website, email or post ‘you’ have confirmed that ‘you’ have the rights or obtained the relevant written permission for the image in accordance with Australian and international Copyright Legislation and that we at blue Horizon Printing cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any legal action that may arise. Images available on our gallery are used under formal licence agreements with their provider or submitting artist.

Colour representation

Every effort is made to reproduce colours accurately, matching as closely as we can to your image supplied, as viewed on a colour calibrated monitor. In accepting our Terms and Conditions our customers take on the understanding that discrepancies can occur when viewing images on un-calibrated monitors. Colour representation can differ from one monitor to another as can viewing the same image on your camera LCD monitor or a print.

Customer Satisfaction Policy/ Returns policy

Every effort is made to ensure that our customers receive the very highest quality artwork, we ensure the best quality canvas, inks, stretched bars and also take great pride in our customer service. This in mind we will always replace any artwork that is any way faulty or damaged. In cases where you, the recipient receive artwork that is not what you ordered in terms of the product name or description we will always replace this artwork, refunds are at our own discretion but are usually issued. We cannot however be held accountable for customers not reading the full product description or details, or if the photos provided by customers were originally low resolution or had flaws with the image quality, if any complaints should arise in relation to these issues they will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

We create a lot of that often involving a lot of words that have to be manually added to an artwork design, we will always email proofs for approval and the onus is on the customer to check the proof to confirm that all of the required words are on the design. Once a proof has been approved it is assumed that the artwork has been thoroughly checked and is exactly as required. If however, a word has been missed by us in the design process but wasn’t picked up on the proof approval process then we will send a new one at cost price.

Proofs & Revisions policy

Once an order has been placed we normally start work on proofs within an hour with proofs being emailed to customers within 48 hours. We will unlimited revisions to the following aspects of the proofs, colour, layout and adding or removing words, we do not change the style of the artwork once an order has been started. If in the unlikely event of a proof not meeting our customer’s requirements we will offer a full refund excluding the $50 design fee.

 

Freight Delays (Covid19 Delays)

As per our terms and conditions of business, from time to time shipping delays may and can occur, due to reasons beyond our control. If shipping is delayed will we do everything possible to ensure a speedy delivery.

You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to enter the correct delivery details upon placing your order.

If you require a delivery address update, we will endeavour to do this for you, if the order has not yet shipped.

We are unable to change the delivery address once an order has been shipped, and at this stage, it becomes the responsibility of the customer to ensure they receive the order or place a new order.

Beyond a Word can not be held liable if you, the customer omit any important information from the delivery address, resulting in the order being returned to us. If the order is returned to us due to customer error, you will need to pay an additional delivery fee of $20 to reship your order.

If the order is delivered to a local post office and you the customer fail to collect the order in a timely manner from the post office, the order may be returned to the sender. If this happens, you the customer are responsible for paying a $20 reshipment fee.

You acknowledge that once an order is shipped, we cannot be held liable if a delivery is delayed due to the actions of the courier.

You acknowledge that Beyond a Word does not offer compensation for shipping delays, for both normal and express shipping.

Items destined for some countries may attract customs charges. You the customer acknowledge you have sole responsibility in paying these fees. If a delivery fails because you do not respond in time to Customs communications, or you refuse to pay the applicable charges, we cannot offer any compensation.

If the order is delivered to a local post office and you the customer fail to collect the order in a timely manner from the post office, the order may be returned to the sender. If this happens, you the customer are responsible for paying a $20 reshipment fee.

We collect personal information about you but NEVER disclose that information to any other entity, except for the purposes of supplying the goods and services to you.
