We have a standardised price structure for all custom art sold on this website, it can be seen here, this price includes the custom creation of your personalised artwork, emailed proofs whenever changes are requested. If you would like us to create a new design that you have seen elsewhere we will usually be able to do this but depending on the complexity there may be a surcharge. Feel free to email us with an example of what you’d like created if it’s not seen on our site.
We offer three choices of finished product, we print on archival fine art paper, 390gsm 100% cotton canvas and also frame the archival fine art paper using premium grade timber moulding. The artwork is then sprayed with an invisible protective layer of Matisse art varnish.

We print on premium quality, award-winning Archival paper, a lovely textured Rag fine art paper 290gsm, this really helps to bring your personalised art to life. This naturally acid- and lignin-free paper offers a maximum colour contrast helping to make your Beyond Words art designs a centrepiece for any wall space. A fine art paper print will be delivered rolled in a wooden tube.
No corners are cut with our stretched canvas prints, your art is printed using premium quality pigment inks, on 400gsm, 100% cotton canvas, sprayed with an invisible laminate to protect against UV damage and scuffing then finally stretched over a kiln-dried timber frame. The final result has been scientifically proven to last up to 70 years and still maintain its vibrant colours.
We use premium grade, kiln-dried environmentally friendly and sustainable plantation pine from New Zealand for our stretcher frames and we ALWAYS use the thick frames for all stretched canvas prints, 34mm, ensuring they will always have the wow factor!
We use quality Italian timber picture frame mouldings 20mm x 20mm for small sizes up to a 20mm x 38mm depth for larger sizes with clear framing acrylic front to avoid damage in transport.
We print on the premium quality, award-winning matt coated paper then mount the print onto a wooden frame; we offer a choice of a white, black and natural timber frame as standard but can offer other colours.
Custom made framing Includes 5cm matt border with cut out insert for the print to suit smaller frame sizes or a non-printed 5cm paper border out to the timber frame for larger sizes.
We try to make our inks a consistent colour, but they are hand-mixed and may vary slightly from one print to the next. We have taken care with the photographs to accurately reflect the colours and hopefully, the name helps too. We hope when you receive your print that it matches your expectations.
We use the very highest quality materials for every part of the artwork, ranging from premium quality inks through to the highest grade canvas and frames. This focus on using quality materials helps ensure your artwork arrives looking fantastic but stays that way for years to come.
All designs are created by hand by our in-house graphic designer and you are welcome to request as many proofs and revisions as you wish until you are perfectly happy with the design.
Please note however that we are not accountable for the quality of the photo/s provided, while we have been known to create works of magic, we are not magicians, and we cannot transform a 50 kB Facebook photo into a high-resolution professional image, although we do touch up and improve all photos used.
Our prints are carefully wrapped using bubble wrap & cardboard, a print will be carefully wrapped in a cardboard tube and the framed prints will be securely wrapped using bubble wrap, cardboard and core flute to ensure that no damage occurs during transit. The core flute is also used for any canvas prints being shipped internationally. Some of our artworks may be large but they are safe.
A stretched canvas print weighs a lot less than a framed print, this is one of the many advantages they have over framed prints, as many of our customers buy them as they want to hang them on their walls using non-destructive sticker hooks. Here is a basic guide for the sizes and weights:

Every effort is made to ensure that our customers are happy with their personalised artwork, we greatly value our customers and realise that word of mouth is some of the best advertising we will get.
Once a proof has been designed, we are more than happy to tweak your design until you are 100% happy with it. You’re then welcome to request changes, such as adding or taking away words, changing colours of the background or fonts, etc. Switching to a new design option entirely will, however, incur a $20 fee.
Once an order has been placed we will aim to have a proof emailed for your approval within 2 working days, after this proof has been approved we can usually print and dispatch a canvas print order within 3-4 days, framed prints 5-7 days. Here are some delivery times for Australian cities; Sydney & Brisbane: 2-4 days, Melbourne: 3-5 days Adelaide: 3-6 days Perth: 4-8 days Darwin: 5-8 days.
We offer a subsidised flat shipping rate of just $35 for all art anywhere in Australia, we understand that it isn’t easy to be at home all the time and are happy to send to an alternative address if it makes life easier for you. If the package isn’t signed for, a delivery slip is left at the address and the parcel will be returned to the courier’s local depot. Redelivery can be arranged by contacting the courier.

We regularly dispatch our prints all over the globe. Our packaging and shipping vary according to the size and destination, just ask us for a shipping price. Here are the subsidised shipping prices for international deliveries:
These charges are per order; we charge the same for 1 print or 20 prints. For international items we use a trackable service, so items will need to be signed for on arrival. Please be aware that international deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes. These charges are beyond our control, and any extra cost needs to be covered by the customer. All orders are processed in Australian Dollars.
Payments can be made in a variety of ways. On the website via the Stripe online payment system, a digitally encrypted safe and secure credit card payment system. Paypal, a secure and well-trusted online payment processor. All major debit and credit cards are accepted and you don’t need to have a PayPal account to make the payment. You can also select bank transfer when processing your order.
After you have placed your order you will receive an email confirmation of the transaction. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer our details are; Blue Horizon Printing, BSB: 082140, Account number: 192709355, we bank with NAB Bank.
We use premium quality thick frames as standard with a thin perspex cover to protect the artwork and also allow them to be shipped and transported without any damage. We can also offer a wide range of custom frames if required. If you have a particular frame style, colour, or design please feel free to contact us directly and we can discuss what is available.
We are an Australian-based company with a studio in Noosaville, Queensland. Our products are made in Australia using the highest quality materials and printers.
We will happily offer a refund of your payment excluding the $50 design fee, this will be paid within 24 hours in the unlikely event that a request should be made. However, we would prefer to make proof changes until our customers are 100% happy with the final product.
Yes, we will create a proof for you to review and approve within 2 working days of receiving payment for the order. Changes such as colours, small layout changes, adding or removing words, etc can be made on your request until you are 100% happy with the design. We will then print your art. Allow up to 2 business days per set of requested changes although the usual turnaround time is less than 24 hours for a new proof to be sent.
We offer our customers the option to choose the VIP service, meaning that your order is jumped straight to the front of the queue. You will then get your proofs sent ahead of other orders, and the manufacturing process is also expedited. You will also receive a copy of your high-resolution file when you order the VIP service. Please note this does not include our custom pushpin maps.
